EVANSVILLE, IN – (October 2024) – Midwestern Pet Foods (MPF) has been feeding families for generations through quality pet nutrition products. Unfortunately, not all pets have families of their own. Midwestern Pet Foods is on a mission to help feed all pets, no matter where they call home. In alignment with this mission, Midwestern Pet Foods has started a new support initiative called MPF To The Rescue®. The program is built upon two pillars, food donations and acts of service.
“MPF To The Rescue® adds another layer to our company’s many support initiatives through MPF Cares. We are proud to provide for pets everywhere, and we feel that this program contributes to the values that make up Midwestern Pet Foods” said Brandi Kramer, Marketing Coordinator for MPF.
Since the beginning of 2024, MPF has donated a total of 77,239 pet food meals to animal shelters nationwide. Meals are measured in daily feeding portions. Fulfilling acts of service, Midwestern Pet Foods encourages employees to volunteer at nearby animal shelters and humane societies. This November, Midwestern Pet Foods will help sponsor a pet adoption event at an animal shelter local to the company’s headquarters. MPF employees will assist with pet care, shelter cleaning and adoption promotion.
