Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Corporate Accountant to join our team on-site in the Greater Evansville Area. In this role, you will handle general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, tax compliance, and assist in budgeting and forecasting. Responsibilities include reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, and supporting both internal and external audits. This position requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for management, including analysis and supporting schedules
- Maintain and update fixed asset schedules, including tracking additions, disposals, and depreciation
- Assist with physical inventory counts at multiple locations and reconcile inventory records
- Support preparation for external audits and tax filings by gathering documentation and responding to requests
- Perform account reconciliations, analysis, and investigate variances
- Assist with cash management activities, including bank reconciliations
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process and ongoing budget-to-actual analysis
- Support various projects and initiatives as directed by management
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
- Expertise in General Accounting and Financial Reporting
- Experience with Accounting Software and Tools
- Exceptional Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience in manufacturing or consumer goods industry is a plus
